North East Nova Scotia Chapter

Area of Interest
Our chapter’s primary focus is to improve the quality and increase participation in the trout fishery in the province of Nova Scotia. We will work for this goal by advocating for appropriate policies and regulations with various government departments, supporting local river associations, and promoting trout fishing. In addition, we will also partner with groups in the north and east of Nova Scotia to assist with projects to improve the quality of stream habitat.

Chapter Description
The chapter was started by a group of individuals who have a demonstrated commitment to improving freshwater habitat. Our founding members belong to various river associations that have completed work on local streams ranging from tens of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars of work. Our chapter is open to anyone that is committed to improving the trout fishery.

Chapter History
Our group applied for and received chapter status in 2016.
