About the event
Ghost Watershed Alliance Society is hosting a bioengineering field workshop in the Ghost Watershed, located only one hour NW of Calgary. Bio-engineering specialist, Jon Berlie, will be leading the workshop. This is an opportunity to learn how to restore streamside vegetation and control erosion using willow and poplar stakes. The workshop is also a great opportunity to meet new people interested in restoration of natural ecosystems.
We will meet at 10:30am and the workshop will end at 4:30pm. Lunch will be provided in the field (please submit your dietary restrictions when registering).
