Town of Okotoks, AB

Comprehensive management of Okotoks municipal water supply is fundamental to the sustainability and resiliency of their community. It is essential that Okotoks continues to manage all of its water sources in an environmentally, ethically and fiscally responsible way. In the past, the Yellow Fish Road program has been done locally by homeschool and community groups, but this year, the Girl Guides of Canada raised awareness and launched the program in a big way in two major communities on May 29th, 2016.
