Grassy Mountain Coal Project Public Hearing-This week marks the beginning of the Joint Review Panel public hearing into the Grassy Mountain Coal Project. A few weeks ago TUC submitted a written statement and will also be participating in the hearing by providing an oral statement. TUC is not supportive of the coal project as proposed. The risks to water quality, fish habitat, and fish communities outweigh potential short term economic benefits.
