H2Ohhhhh-Did you know that not all drinking water tastes the same?

Trout Unlimited Canada is proud to be collaborating with Christina Li, Canada’s first Water Sommelier, in a virtual tasting event. Christina will guide you through a tasting of water from different parts of the world. Discover diverse flavor profiles, unique pairings, and associated health benefits.

Christine Li has always enjoyed water as her beverage of choice.  She thought all water was the same.  But when faced with a health challenge, her decision to change the water she consumed to optimize cellular hydration and rejuvenation assisted significantly in overcoming her health challenge.  That was the beginning of her new passion and the reason she became a Certified Water Sommelier.  She has tasted hundreds of different types of water and can differentiate the taste of calcium from the taste of sodium, and how different minerals in water interact with one’s health, taste, and food.

This exclusive event on November 25, 2021, is limited to just 200 guests, who will have the chance to mingle virtually with other guests or join a private room for an intimate discussion with Christina. All participants will receive their water samples before the 2-hour event, along with a link to join.

This event is the first of its kind in Canada and will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at 6 PM MST.  Tickets are $200 each with a $100 tax receipt.

Tickets and event information is available here.

Proceeds from this event will help fund stream restoration and protection projects across Canada, like the Fall Creek Habitat Rehabilitation Project in Alberta.

Fall Creek contains essential spawning and rearing habitat for endangered Bull Trout.  Severe damage, unmanaged off-highway vehicle (OHV) use has severely damaged the creek. Thanks to sponsors like you, TUC was able to work with our partners to restore 61 OHV crossings of the creek and significantly improve the water quality along with the habitat for Bull Trout and other native species that live within the watershed.

We are also extending this opportunity for you or your organization to become a supporter or donor.  It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your brand at this exclusive event.  We offer several unique sponsorship opportunities, or we can tailor one for your needs.

Further information is available at your request.  Please contact our Events Manager, Wylma Williams.
