Thanks to the RBC Blue Water Fund

A huge thank you goes out to the RBC Blue Water Fund for their generous support in the development of TUC’s Stream Rehabilitation Progam.

The RBC’s support enabled TUC to create an online version of our Stream Rehabilitation Training Program, workshops 1-3. This will allow community members, students, and professionals the flexibility to learn and upgrade their skills in watershed conservation and rehabilitation.

By offering people the tools to undertake local stream rehabilitation training at their own convenience, we empower a greater audience to create scientifically-informed designs and increase the likelihood of long-term success for these projects. With more projects being installed on the ground as facilitated through the online SRT program, we will improve our natural infrastructure including, floodplains, stream valleys, and wetlands.  These projects will make Canada more resilient to climate change and increased climate variability.
