Caring for our Watersheds

Youth in grades 7-12 across Alberta can win up to $1,000 for themselves and their school or club by participating in the Caring for our Watersheds contest.

To enter, individuals or small groups answer the question “What can you do to help improve your watershed?” in a short proposal. These future leaders are learning more about the local ecosystem, human impacts, and that their actions make a difference.

Project entries should be realistic, and if desired, can be made into reality with program funding and mentorship. Project ideas, resources, rules, and deadlines are on the website:
